Animation is the process of designing, drawing, making layouts and preparation of photographic sequences which are integrated in the multimedia and gaming products.

Types of Animation

•           Traditional animation (cel animation or hand-drawn animation)

•           Stop motion animation (Clay animation, Cut-outs)

•           Motion Graphics (Typography, Animated logo)

•           Computer animation

•            2D animation

•            3D animation

 

Traditional Animation

Traditional animation  is an animation technique in which each frame is drawn by hand. The technique was the dominant form of animation in cinema until the advent of computer animation.it is frame by frame animation.


Cel Animation

Cel animation is the art of creating 2D animation by hand on sheets of transparent plastic,this plastics sheets called “cels”. When played back at a speed of 12 or 24 frames they create the illusion of movement. where each frame of the film is drawn by hand. this process can used on storyboard design for films.


Stop Motion Animation

Stop motion is a animation technique in animated film making,Any kind of object can thus be animated as clay, paper, fabrics and photographs and etc.,


Motion Graphics
Motion graphics  are pieces of  digital footage. it is illustration and combined with audio for use in multimedia. it is frame by frame and key frame animation.


Computer Animation
computer-generated imagery (CGI). It is the process used for digitally  animated images. 3D animation and 2D animation graphics are computer animations.

2D Animation
2D animation is a traditional animation. in this animation pose to pose digital drawing fallowed by 24 fps.

3D Animation
3D computer graphics  called CGI, 3D animation is  three-dimensional computer graphics.
