Animate Tools _ Animate Part 3

Brush

Use the Brush Tool to custom-define a brush by setting parameters of the brush such as shape and angle. You can create natural artwork in your projects by customizing the brush tool to suit your drawing needs.

Bone Tool-

This tool is used for Rigging with objects. This animation shows smooth animation.Use the Bone tool to use Inverse kinematics (IK), a way of animating objects using bones chained into linear or branched armatures in parent-child relationships. When one bone moves, connected bones move in relation to it. You can add IK bones to movie clip, graphic, and button instances.

Camera Tool -

It’s a  virtual camera movement. When you set a camera view for your composition, you look at the layers as though you were looking through that camera. You can also add tweens or keyframes on a camera layer. We can do Panning, Zoom in and out, Rotation using camera tool.

Ellipsis Tool -

Use the Ellipse tool to draw circles and ovals.

Pencil Tool -

Use the Pencil tool to draw and edit freehand lines. This tool works as Three types of modes.

Straighten

Smooth

Ink

Pen Tool -

Use the Pen tool to draw straight and curved lines to create objects. Pen tool having three supporting tools.

Add Anchor point tool – You can adding nodes in the section line in between.

Delete anchor point tool - You can delete unwanted nodes in the section line.

Convert anchor point tool – Convert to curves to straight  and convert to straight to curves.

Rectangle Tool -

Use the Rectangle tool to draw squares and rectangles.

Sub selection Tool -

Use the anchor points of the connecting segments in the asset to display direction handles, which consist of direction lines that end in direction points. The angle and length of the direction lines determine the shape and size of the curved segments. Move the direction points to reshape the curves.

After selecting an anchor point, direction lines appear on any curved segments connected by the anchor point. A smooth point always has two direction lines, which move together as a single, straight unit. When you move a direction line on a smooth point, the curved segments on both sides of the point are adjusted simultaneously, maintaining a continuous curve at that anchor point.

Free Transform Tool -

Use the Free Transform tool to scale, rotate, or skew a selection.

Gradient transform tool :

Select the Gradient Transform tool from the Tools panel. Click an area filled with a gradient. using the Colour Panel  we can fill solid, liner, radial and bitmap.

Rectangle Primitive tool

The Rectangle Primitive tool. The close cousin of the Oval Primitive tool is the Rectangle Primitive tool, which gives you control over corner radii on rectangles and squares. Like the Oval Primitive tool, you can easily set values for a new primitive shape, and return to edit it at any time.

Oval Primitive Tool

Use the Oval Primitive Tool to draw your circle the size you want on the Stage in a keyframe. ... Make a new keyframe, select the circle and set the start angle to 90. Make a new keyframe, select the circle and set the start angle to 135. Make a new keyframe, select the circle and set the start angle to 180.

3d rotate tool -

Rotate a single object in 3D space , only can be used in classic tween and motion tween.

·        Rotate

·        Panning in x, y, and z- axis

·        Rolling

Lasso tool –

The Lasso tool selects objects by dragging a free-form selection marquee around the object. When an object is selected, a rectangular box appears around the object.

Polygon tool –

To set the starting point, click the object. Position the pointer where you want the first line to end, and click at that position.

Text Tool –

Using for typography working.here we are using three types.

1.     Static text - Using for animation

2.     Dynamic Text - Using for actionscript and we can give instance name also.

3.     Input text - Using for actionscript and we can give instance name also.

·        Font-family. You can choose from several different typefaces. You might not find all the same fonts that you have on your computer. In web design, you’re limited to fonts that are available to your audience unless you have a way of providing the font with your project. For more details on fonts and typefaces, see the next section.

·        Color. Click the swatch, and the standard color picker appears where you can set the color for your text.

·        Font-size. Dial in font size by number. Next to font-size you see a button called Text Property Unit. Click this to change the method for specifying font-size.

·        Font-unit. Animate uses three different units for specifying font size: pixels (px) ems (em) and percentage (%). Pixels are equivalent to a single dot on a monitor. An em is roughly the size of the letter M. Most web browsers give users the ability to adjust the size of text, so an em is a unit that changes according to the browser setting. Percentage is a useful option when designing web content that may be viewed on mobile devices as well as desktop computers.

·        Font-style. Slants the text so it looks like italics.

·        Font-weight. Gives you several options such as Thin, Extra Light, Normal, and Extra Bold. The order of options and their accompanying numbers give you hints for comparing the different weights.

·        Font-decoration. Use this button to underline text.

·        Text-align. Just like your word processor, Animate lets you align text right, center, or left. Alignment affects all the text in the text box. So if you want to create one paragraph aligned right and one paragraph centered, they must be in separate text boxes.

·        Text-indent. Indents the first line within a text box. You can change the value in pixels. It doesn't accept negative numbers to create hanging indents.

·        Line-height. Use to set the space between lines of text.

·        Letter-spacing. As the name implies, you can adjust the space between letters. Often used to create distinctive headlines or company logos, this effect should be used sparingly for normal body text.

·        Word-spacing. Varies the distance between words. Use carefully or you may end up with awkward, hard-to-read text.

PolyStar Tool -

PolyStar tool allows you to easily create complex vector shapes. You can use this tool to create polygons and stars with up to 32 sides. Choose between creating a polygon or a star. You can change into a Property Inspector.

Paint Brush Tool -

To add a new Art Brush, open the CC libraries panel and just click on any of the supported brushes. In the Tools panel, click the icon. Select the Paint Brush or Pattern brush from the Properties panel.

Paint Bucket Tool -

This tool is used for filling in selected objects and shapes choosing color. Object / shape should be closed.

Ink bottle Tool -

The Ink Bottle tool lets you change the stroke color, line width, and style of lines or shape outlines.

Eyedropper Tool -

The Eyedropper tool allows you to select the attributes of a shape such as fill and stroke color and gradient.

Width tool-

To adjust the width of a stroke, click and hold any point along the stroke path. This will create a width point. Pull up or down on these points to expand or contract that segment of the stroke.

Eraser tool-

To remove the unwanted strokes and filling of the selection area.

Hand tool-

To pan the stage. The pointer becomes a small hand that moves the entire Stage revealing other parts of the Stage as you drag. Pressing the space bar temporarily changes the active tool to the Hand tool. Continue holding as you drag.

Zoom tool-

To view the entire Stage on the screen in order to view a particular area of your drawing at high magnification, you can change the magnification level. The maximum magnification depends on the resolution of your monitor and the document size. The minimum value for zooming out on the Stage is 8%; the maximum value for zooming in is 2000%.
