Drawing Models in Adobe Animate _ Animate Part 2
Merge Drawing and Object
drawing are the two models used to create shapes in Animate.
Merge drawing model This is
the default drawing model in animate that merges shapes automatically when you
draw them overlapping with each other. In this model, on moving a shape that
has been merged with another shape, the shape below it also moves.
Object drawing model This
model allows you to draw shapes as separate objects that do not merge when you
overlap them. Using this model, you can create primitive rectangles and ovals
in the Primitive mode. You can also specify the corner radius of the rectangles
and inner radius of the ovals in the Property Inspector window. This option is
good to create pie wedges, round off corners, and other curved shapes.
