What is CorelDraw
CorelDraw is a Vector Graphics Editor. Corel Draw is a comprehensive vector based program which is useful for graphic professionals.
By using this software we can create art works like logos, posters, brochures & etc which are useful for onscreen display & for Print Publishing.
Corel Draw Terms:
Object:
An element in a drawing such as an image, shape, line, text, curve, symbol or layer.
Drawing:
The work you created in CorelDraw. For example, custom Art works logos, posters and new letters.
Vector graphic:
An image generated from mathematical description that determine the position, length, and description which lines are drawn.
Bitmap:
An image composed of grid of pixels or dots.
Dockers:
A window containing available commands and settings relevant to a specific tool or task.
Fly out:
A button that opens a group of related tools or menu items.
Artistic Text:
A type of text which you can apply special effects. Such as Shadows.
Para graphic Text:
A type of text which you can apply formatting options and which can be edited in large blocks.
