How to Save / Export / Import in Coreldraw _ Part 11
Saving Document
Saving files or documents is a basic function, yet a very essential one common
to all software. By default, files are saved in the .cdr format in CorelDraw, choose the versions.
Go to File Menu - Select Save Option .
You can give the location where would you save. You can enter the file name, save type is showing document format. Mostly we are using CorelDRAW (.cdr). Change the version. Ex- version 18.0 means CorelDRAW X8(18) . Than press ok.
Export Document
In Export Option we can save as so many formats.
Like : PDFF, .jpg, .psd, .ai and etc,.
- Open CorelDRAW file and activate the
page containing objects that you need to export.
- Select Export from File menu.
- Select the desired type of file format
you wish to export as
- To export the entire page - Make sure
'Selected only' is unchecked.
- Click Export button.
- Click Ok.
Import file into an active drawing
- Click File Import.
- Choose the folder where the file is stored.
- Choose a file format from the Files of type list box.
- Click the filename.
- Click Options.
